47 year-old driver causes sixth car accident
A recent motor vehicle accident report described how the driver, a 47 year-old female, had caused five accidents in the preceding five years. This time the driver struck a man, 31 years of age, who was in the process of placing his 1 year-old daughter in a car seat. The driver did not stop at the scene of the accident. She was stopped when another driver who saw her hit the pedestrian followed her pulling her over while honking his horn. Other witnesses in the area kept her there until the police arrived. The accident with the pedestrian happened at approximately 8 a.m. The force of the impact caused damage to her car’s front end and cracked the windshield. The victim suffered massive head trauma and required emergency brain surgery at a local hospital. He was last reported to be in critical condition after. The 1 year-old girl was not hurt in the accident.
