Charlotte just called and wants me to help her with promotion for her poetry readings. We discussed the idea of the doing some video podcasts from the first few events and then using them on her website to get some interest up in the others.

Not sure how well this sort of thing will work the first time out, but the nice thing is that the material will be available the next time she goes out too. Social media is a long-haul sort of strategy. It’s not something that works magic overnight. I keep trying to explain that to people but they just don’t seem to get it.
