I was just a happy-go-lucky kid in high school. I never took education seriously then. This attitude of mine was the cause of my parents’ concern. They wanted me to give priority to studies. When I started getting low grades in subjects they were greatly disappointed and hired a private tutor to help me out. I started training under a tutor who was just 24 years old, so it was easy for me to communicate with him easily. He explained the importance of studies and shared his personal experiences with me in order to make me realize its value. I understood what he said was true and started working seriously for my studies from then. I secured good grades in studies and passed out of school successfully. Now I’m pursuing a bachelors’ degree in microbiology and I’m sure I’ll achieve my goal one day.

When I was in college one of my best friends decided to move to California the fall after he graduated.  He wanted to get into the movies and said he was going to give it five years and see if he had what it took to make it.   For the last ten or fifteen years our alumni bulletin has listed him as among the missing and has asked anyone knowing his whereabouts to contact the college.  I started a search for Jerry and was able to determine through the state of California death records that he had died ten years ago. My wife just phoned me about an hour ago. She called to let me know that her car broke down, and she needs me to come and pick her up. Apparently she is about 2 hrs away at her friends house. I asked her for the address and then proceeded to look up the driving directions with yahoo map quest directions. Within minutes I found the proper directions and had them printed out. I’m confident that I can find my wife and help her get back home safe and sound. The Internet truly has made my life so much easier, thank you Yahoo.

I have often wished that I could speak a foreign language. These days, I think that being able to speak Spanish would be very helpful and that it might even help me further myself in my career. I have been researching Learn Spanish software. I do not have the time to sit in a class night after night learning a language. I am busy and would like to learn something like this on my own time. If I can find a software that would help me, it would be a lot easier than sitting in a classroom in the evenings.

Maybe it is me and maybe it is the people who are now doing the printing of the phone books but the print seems to be getting harder and harder to read.  At first it was just the stock market quotes in our local newspaper but now it has drifted over to the phone books.   I am to the point that when I want to do a phone book search I need to have my Sherlock Holmes Magnifying glass in my hand before I open the book.  When they move the phone books to my computer I will be able to adjust the size of the font.

The inventor’s conception of an invention begins when he first formulates the in his mind this idea of solving a problem by the means of inventing something. The conception is basically the starting point of the invention.  The inventor gets this idea and then branches out on it creating a number of different examples and prototypes where he can then begin testing his invention to see if it works. This process deals with a lot of test and error which can be a strenuous, but once you have created something that actually works the whole process will all be worth it.
