When I was in college one of my best friends decided to move to California the fall after he graduated.  He wanted to get into the movies and said he was going to give it five years and see if he had what it took to make it.   For the last ten or fifteen years our alumni bulletin has listed him as among the missing and has asked anyone knowing his whereabouts to contact the college.  I started a search for Jerry and was able to determine through the state of California death records that he had died ten years ago. It was not the way I wanted to find him.
